The Fortnite Season 8 release date has finally been revealed to be February 28th, 2020. This comes a little over two months following the third week of regular challenges, but many players are still struggling to get through the whole Battle Pass in two days. There are some special bonus challenges being offered as part of The Fortnite Share The Love promotion: the Extra Credits challenges. What is this, you might ask?
The Extra Credit challenge will let you earn double credits when you kill the same enemy multiple times within a few minutes. You can do this by playing as many matches as possible (as many as you can!) It's really that simple, though it can be quite frustrating if you happen to be stuck somewhere and don't have much time to spare, or if you want to try to get all the challenges out of the way quickly before they expire. The concept works in that you only have a limited amount of time for each battle, and if you're quick you can rack up as many credits as you can in a short period of time.
This bonus challenge isn't limited to just one mode or even one kind of enemy; you can choose from any of them. It does, however, end at the same point where the regular challenges end, so if you've managed to get past the first wave of enemies without taking any damage in the process, you won't have enough time to get to the next.
What happens when you've already taken care of the enemies and the bonus challenge is triggered? Well, it instantly ends, and you will no longer earn credit at that point. However, the credits you earn from playing will still count towards your total score. These credits can then be used to earning more credits from regular challenges in the future, if you feel like earning them as quickly as possible.
There will be a second bonus challenge available to play, and this will come with a different set of rules. It will be different from the Extra Credit challenge, which means that it will not end just after a certain number of battles. It'll be part of the Share the Love system, so it won't end if you've already reached the halfway point of your regular challenge, although you'll lose access to the Share The FortnLove bonus if you've failed the Share the first time.
The third bonus of The Share the Love system is called the Overcome the challenge. This one is a bit of an oddity, but it will require you to complete the game in one go to get it.
